This interest in the operational security of the server outweighs any interests in the immediate deletion of the above data. As a website visitor, you also have a similar interest in being able to access and use a website that is as secure as possible.

Consent as legal basis

Without your consent, no personal data about you will be collected or stored - apart from the automatically stored log data (see above). Only you decide whether or not you disclose personal data for the purpose of contacting you, evaluating the project or applying.

If you provide such data about yourself, you thereby give your consent to its storage and use in accordance with data protection law. If it is a project evaluation, the data will be stored for a maximum of two years.

You can revoke your consent to the processing of data at any time with effect for the future.

Cookies

Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions requested by you are stored on the basis of Article 6 (1) f) DSGVO. There is a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of services.

The cookies we use are usually so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted after the end of your visit.

However, cookies are also used that remain on your hard drive. Their expiration time is set to a date in the future. When you visit the website again, it will then automatically recognise that you have already been to the website and which entries and settings you prefer (so-called long-term cookies).

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If you deactivate cookies, however, the functionality of this website may be limited.

Real Cookie Banner

To manage the cookies and similar technologies used (tracking pixels, web beacons, etc.) and related consents, we use the consent tool "Real Cookie Banner". Details on how "Real Cookie Banner" works can be found at https://devowl.io/de/rcb/datenverarbeitung. Legal bases for the processing of personal data in this context are Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c DS-GVO and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DS-GVO. Our legitimate interest is the management of the cookies and similar technologies used and the related consents.

Google Ads Conversions and Remarketing

Google Ads Conversions

On this website, the offer of Google Ads of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House Barrow Street Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter: Google) is used to draw attention to our offers with the help of advertising media (so-called Google Ads) on external websites. As a provider, we can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are in relation to the data of the advertising campaigns. We pursue with it the interest to show you advertisement to our offers and services which could be of interest for you.

The advertising is delivered by Google via so-called "ad servers". For this purpose, we use ad server cookies with which certain parameters for measuring success, such as display of the ads or clicks by users, can be measured. If you access our website via a Google ad, Google Ads will store a cookie on your computer. The unique cookie ID, the number of ad impressions per placement (frequency), the last impression (relevant for post-view conversions) and opt-out information (marking that the user no longer wishes to be addressed) are usually stored as analysis values for this cookie.

These cookies enable Google to recognize your internet browser. If a user visits certain pages of the website of an Ads customer and the cookie stored on his computer has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. A different cookie is assigned to each Ads customer. Cookies can therefore not be tracked across Ads customers' websites.

The ad server cookies usually lose their validity after 30 days and are not intended to identify you personally.

We ourselves do not collect and process any personal data in the aforementioned advertising measures. We only receive statistical evaluations from Google. Based on these evaluations, we can see which of the advertising measures used are particularly effective. We do not receive any further data from the use of the advertising media; in particular, we cannot identify users on the basis of this information.

Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and therefore inform you according to our state of knowledge: Through the integration of Ads Conversion, Google receives the information that you have called up the corresponding part of our website or clicked on the ad from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in to a Google service, there is a possibility that the provider learns your IP address and stores it.

You can prevent participation in this tracking process in several ways:

a) by setting your browser software accordingly - the suppression of third-party cookies will result in you not receiving third-party ads;

b) by disabling cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain www.googleadservices.com (https://www.google.de/settings/ads), with this setting being deleted when you delete your cookies;

c) by disabling the interest-based ads of the providers that are part of the self-regulatory campaign "About Ads" via the link http://www.aboutads.info/choices, this setting being deleted when you delete your cookies;

d) by permanently deactivating it in your Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browsers under the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. Please note that in this case you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

Google Ads Remarketing

In addition to Google Ads Conversion, we use the Google Ads Remarketing application. Through this application, you can be shown advertisements about our services in your subsequent internet use after visiting our website. This is done by means of cookies stored in your browser, via which your usage behavior when visiting various websites is recorded and evaluated by Google. In this way, Google can determine your previous visit to our website. According to Google's own statements, the data collected in the context of Google Ads Remarketing is not merged with your personal data that may be stored by Google (e.g. because you have registered for a Google service such as GMail). According to Google, pseudonymization is used in remarketing.

Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and processing by Google, as well as further information on your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy, can be found in the Google advertising privacy policy, available at http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/technologies/ads.

Legal basis for processing

The legal basis for the processing of your data is the consent you have given via the cookie consent tool (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a) DSGVO).

Third country transfer

In the context of the use of these tools, your personal data will be transferred in compliance with the requirements of Art. 44 et seq. DSGVO, your personal data will also be transferred to a third country. Google is obliged to comply with the level of data protection in the European Union by agreeing to the EU standard data protection clauses (where necessary in conjunction with additional guarantees) of the European Commission. The standard data protection clauses are freely available on the Internet on the website of the European Commission.

Despite these contractual and technical measures, it may happen that the level of data protection in the third country does not correspond to that of the European Union. The legal basis for the international data transfer that then takes place is your consent pursuant to Art. 49 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. a) DSGVO, which you give via the consent in the cookie banner (or other forms, registrations, etc.). There is above all the risk, especially in the case of a data transfer to the USA, that your personal data could possibly be processed by authorities, for control and for monitoring purposes, even without sufficient legal remedies, without us as data exporter or you as data subject being aware of this.

Youtube video integration

YouTube Video is a streaming service provided by Google (as per the company name and address above). We use the YouTube embedding feature on our website, which allows us to display and play videos on our website.

When playing a video on our website, YouTube uses local storages. As part of this service, Google processes the IP address, browser and device information (e.g. the operating system), the referrer URL, and information about the videos viewed.

Google itself is responsible for the data processing described above. Please note that Google transmits the above information to Google servers in the USA (see also the above subchapter "Third Country Transfer").

The data collection is carried out according to § 25 para. 1 TTDSG, the downstream data processing according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) DSGVO based on your explicit consent. You can revoke your consent at any time via the privacy settings at the bottom of our website in the Consent Tool.
